The admission process

Candidates applying for the Viewfinder Master course undergo a three-round admission procedure:

  1. Selection of formally correct applications: the Application Committee/AC checks the applications to ensure compliance with the Entry Standards and the validity of the submitted documents
  2. The e-application package of the eligible candidates is scored first individually and then by consensus of the AC members. The highest-ranking 30-50 candidates are invited to participate in a Skype interview.
  3. Those invited to a Skype interview are given an additional task. The candidates will receive the exact description of this task after the application.

AC ranks the applicants based on the result of the Skype interview and their aggregated scores and selects those proposed for scholarship and decides who will be excluded.

There is a 2-week appeal period in which applicants may raise appeals against the procedure itself or its results.
